Bluespark and Istos

Bluespark is a full service drupal-centric web agency with a US focus and a 16-strong global team of talented individuals spread across the world (from Mexico to Spain, the USA, Haiti, France and, now, Italy).

I will be spending my time managing both the Bluespark and Istos teams that, in turn, will be jointly working on projects.

Istos and Bluespark are already partners on the Drupal Rooms module and distribution for hotels and we have worked with them on other projects in the past. As such, when Michael from Bluespark suggested we find a way to work more closely and that I take on a full position at Bluespark it did not take long to settle on a plan.

Istos will retain its presence in Italy but will take a step back from taking on consulting work focusing instead on existing clients and developing internal projects and products (such as Italy magazine and Drupal Rooms) while working with the expanded Bluespark team on their projects.

Personally, I could not be more thrilled. We will be able to do some great Drupal work and increase our involvement with the Drupal community.

With Bluespark there is a shared vision and a common purpose and we look forward to sharing more of our plans soon.
